Where do I enter the restaurant?
We’re doing our best to adapt to the ongoing construction project next door.

When you join us for dinner, please enter through the door on Washington Street. You’ll find our host just inside the bar door to welcome you!
*This entrance does include some short steps; for an accessible entrance, please continue to use our rear patio door and we will come to you.

Where can I park?
Due to the neighboring development project, parking for Thompson Italian has moved.

The best place to park is in the Kaiser Permanente garage on Park Ave, right across the street from our restaurant. Weekdays after 5pm and weekends all day, the garage offers free parking on the top 2 floors. Limited public parking is also available in the nearby business condos, accessible from Park Ave behind the State Theatre.

To enter Thompson Italian, you may use either door: the bar entrance on Washington Street, which does require the use of 3 stairs, or the rear patio entrance. Simply walk through the patio at Clare & Don’s Beach Shack to reach our accessible patio door.

Where do I pick up my order?
We now offer takeout parking on Park Pl along the curb. Please enter the restaurant at the Washington Street bar door and check in with a member of our team.

May I have my food delivered instead?
Yes! We now offer delivery via third-party companies: DoorDash, UberEats, and GrubHub.

When can I make a reservation?
Reservations are released 21 days in advance via Resy. Book your table inside our dining room or on our outdoor patio. You may contact fallschurch@thompsonitalian.com to book a table further in advance or for a larger party of 7 or more people. Our largest table in the dining room seats 8; our counter-height table in the bar seats 10 at backless stools. We request a credit card number to confirm a reservation and charge a $25/person fee in the event of a no-show.

Is your patio covered? I’m concerned about rain / sun.
Our main patio, which is seasonally available via reservations, offers shade umbrellas. In the event of rain, we reach out to folks with patio reservations to offer alternative seating dates, times or locations.

What is your corkage policy?
 You may bring in outside bottles of wine that are not on our current wine list. We simply charge a corkage fee of $25 per 750ml bottle. Other than wine bottles, no outside food or beverage is permitted.

What is your gift card policy? I have one from Alexandria Thompson Italian; may I use it here?
Yes! We offer electronic and physical gift cards, which may be redeemed at either Thompson Italian location.

I love a particular dish/dessert/wine/cocktail from Thompson Italian in Alexandria can I eat it here?
In some cases, yes! We will have a few of our favorite items available in both locations, but each restaurant’s overall menu offerings will be unique. You can expect to see rotating, seasonal items at both Thompson Italians, but the menus will not be identical. You can check out our current menus online here.

What are Supper Trays?
These tasty large-format dishes are designed to make meal time easy at home or on the go.Each tray serves 4-6 people and can be ordered HOT or COLD:

Order HOT if you’ll be serving dinner right away.
Order COLD if you’re planning to reheat your meal before serving.Please note that at least one-day’s notice is required for all Supper Tray orders.When ordering online, be sure to select ‘Schedule for Later’ and choose a pick-up time at least one day in advance. No same-day Supper Tray orders, please. Supper Trays are available for pick-up only (no delivery).Want to make a tray into a meal? Our salads, sides and desserts are available as add-ons for Supper Tray orders.
